Nordic Fund Selection Awards 2010

The winners of the first annual Nordic Fund Selection Awards were announced at the Nordic Fund Selection Forum in Stockholm yesterday.

The process to find the winners of the awards was initiated before the summer when Tell Media Group started to collect nominations. In September the nominations was submitted to more than twenty fund groups who was asked to rate each selection team in terms of how professional they find each team to be in their overall selection process, which includes both the pure research but also how professional the selection teams are in communication pre- and post selection. Twelve fund groups submitted their ratings and the winners in each category is outlined below.

Best fund selectors in the Nordics

Tomorrow, Thursday, we expect to see some 50 fund analysts, fund-of-fund manages and institutional investors in Stockholm for the Nordic Fund Selection Forum. Tell Media Group has organised this conference since 2008 and new for this year is that we will hand out awards to the best selection teams in the Nordic region. The winners will be revealed on Thursday afternoon. Below you find which teams are in the running.

The third annual Nordic Fund Selection Forum is only 16 days away. This one day investment conference focused on fund- and manager selection will be held at the Scandic Anglais in Stockholm on Thursday, October 7. New date for Nordic Fund Selection Forum

The volcano on Iceland has caused both practical problems as well as general uncertainy for the fund groups and external speakers we are working with for the Nordic Fund Selection Forum 2010. We have therefore decided to postpone the conference until October 7. More information will follow.

Nordic Fund Selection Forum - Program

The program for the Nordic Fund Selection Forum has been finalized and I think we have an excellent line-up of speakers this year. There are two distinct sections where we have presentations on developed markets in the morning and presentations on emerging markets in the afternoon. We also have two distinguished external key-note speakers covering trends in fund selection and Fredrik Skavlan will share his insights on interview techniques. Nordic Fund Selection Forum 2010

Tell Media Group is hosting the 3^rd annual Nordic Fund Selection Forum on April 29, 2010 at Scandic Anglais in Stockholm, Sweden. This is an exclusive investment conference aimed at fund selectors in the Nordic region.

We will publish more information about the conference as speakers and program is finalized.
